This Fluoride Reduction Cartridge, when used with the AquaLiv Water System and Purification Expansion Kit, doubles the fluoride reduction capacity of the system.
FluorGon™ media will not leach toxic aluminum into the water like Activated Alumina fluoride reduction cartridges.
A KDF-55 pre-treatment stage in this cartridge scavenges chlorine in the water before it reaches the FluorGon™ media. As chlorine outcompetes fluoride, this increases effectiveness.
