Filter Change Frequency

Filter changes are recommended every 1000 gallons or one year, whichever comes first.

Purification performance drops rapidly after one year, and most contaminants are odorless and tasteless. Don't wait until your water tastes bad; that means you've been drinking contaminants for a long time already.

Plus, the filters add magnesium and keep your water alkaline. The magnesium is all consumed within a year.

Filter Set FS300 includes everything to replenish your Atla/AquaLiv Water System. Please note that the big tank never needs filters or servicing outside of sanitizing during filter changes.

Atla recommends sanitizing your system as part of the annual filter change process to ensure your system is free of pathogens.

Sani-System sanitizer is designed to clean water systems safely. Sani-System liquid concentrate is efficient and easy to use. It is pre-measured in the correct dose for your system:

Customers with an active filter subscription with two or more past automatic shipments are now under warranty, regardless of purchase date. We will repair or replace your Atla Water System at no charge.

You may never purchase another water system again!

Forever Warranty excludes faucets, shipping, and installation. Our warranty does not cover damage to the system or property damage. All plumbing systems should be inspected periodically to ensure an absence of leaks that may result in damage to surrounding areas.

According to the US Inflation Calculator, a product that cost $99 in 1999 will cost $137.38 in 2022.

However, in 1999, we didn't have a $20 discount for customers replacing their filters annually.
